Dante's workshop For his workshop, Dante made a short film entitled The Gardener. He has shot the same script in 2 other workshops. Dante used the simple story to illustrate key concepts of visual story-telling, screen direction and camera movement.
The film was prepped, shot and edited over 3 days during Plus Camerimage, and was projected during the closing ceremony. |
The Gardener was shot in HD with a Sony F23 and a Canon 7D (for the car interiors). Most of the film was shot at Opus Studio with Dante commenting his choices to a crowd of student onlookers.
The workshop and film were supported by Panavision.
